Phifer SunTex 80 is a distinct outdoor mesh fabric that absorbs up to 80% of the sun's hot rays. With a 20% open weave, it acts as a well-ventilated privacy screen with great outward viewing while still blocking UV light and insects. When used as an outdoor window shade, it helps keep rooms cooler and minimizes fading in furniture. Because of this, it's a great energy saver. Made of stable vinyl-coated polyester, the black mesh screen fabric defends against pet damage and tearing.
SunTex is ideal as an outdoor sun shade fabric on doors, windows, porches, and patios. Armed with Microban® antimicrobial protection, the material stays cleaner for longer. The exterior solar screen hinders the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. It only needs an occasional cleaning with gentle soap and water.
