Phifer manufactures durable screening material to be used everyday for general mesh screen purposes. Phifer wire mesh screening is great for all window, door, and porch applications. There are a variety of Phifer screening products, including Phifer Fiberglass Screening, Solar Insect Screening, PetScreen, and TuffScreen.
Phifer Fiberglass Screening is woven fiberglass that will not stretch or shrink over time. It is durable and unaffected by smoke, fumes and salt air, though it is affected by chlorine so it is not recommended for swimming pool covers.
Phifer Solar Insect Screening is another similar woven fiberglass screening which will not shrink, stretch or corrode. It is not recommended for pool covers either, but is GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold certified.
Phifer PetScreen is a heavy-duty, vinyl-coated polyester insect mesh screening which is seven times stronger than most insect screenings. The PetScreen is phenomenal in that it is strong against tearing and damages that may be caused by pets, which makes it wonderful for screen doors.
Phifer TuffScreen is a great choice for heavy-duty insect screening as it is three times stronger than traditional insect screening, is durable against pet damage, and intended for areas of high traffic.
