Part of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener system, the #88 "hook" (male) section features small, stiff hooks. This woven tape fastener engages with the #1000 "loop" (female) strip that's covered in small, soft loops. When pressed together, the pair of mating strips form an adjustable, versatile, and secure closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's light, nylon structure provides strength, endurance, and easy maintenance. The acrylic adhesive backing supplies a firm hold to a range of surfaces. The unique self-gripping technique removes the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Applications for these adhesive strips include clothing, mounting and adhering to walls and other surfaces, indoor/outdoor purposes, marine fastening, cushion placement, and others.
