This VELCRO� Brand #89 Hook meets Military Spec A-A-55126C, Type II, Class 1. The "hook" (male) section is covered in small, stiff hooks. This woven tape fastener engages with a #1100 "loop" (female) section that's covered in small, soft loops (sold separately). When pressed together, the hook and loop fastener strips create an adjustable, versatile, and secure closure.
The VELCRO� Brand tape's lightweight, nylon construction provides high strength, stability, and easy care. The exclusive self-gripping technology eliminates the need for buckles, rings, or snaps. Applications for these strips include indoor/outdoor functions, marine fastening, cushion placement, clothing, recreational gear, tying, wrapping and bundling, straps, and many other industrial uses.
