Part of the VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fastener unit, the #88 "hook" (male) strip features small, stiff hooks. This woven tape fastener joins with the #1000 "loop" (female) section that features small, soft loops. When pressed together, the two mating strips create an adjustable, functional, and secure closure.
The VELCRO® Brand tape's lightweight, nylon construction provides strength, endurance, and easy care. The acrylic adhesive backing holds firmly to a range of surfaces. The unique self-gripping technology removes the need for rings, buckles, or snaps. Uses for these adhesive strips include indoor/outdoor functions, marine fastening, cushion placement, clothing, mounting and adhering to walls and other surfaces, and other industrial uses.
