This cord is made of solid-braided MFP (multifilament polypropylene) and has an abrasion-resistant smooth finish. The polypropylene rope has good strength with low stretch and excellent dielectric qualities. The polypro rope resists alkalis, acids, and mildew. This polypropylene cord also floats and does not absorb water. The ends can be fused to prevent fraying. Use the polypro cord in a range of marine applications.
