Treated for maximum UV resistance, Coats Polymatic thread is much less susceptible to harm from the sun's rays. Made of bonded monocord Dacron, the sewing thread features increased lubrication for protection while sewing.
Since monofilament threads are stronger than twisted ones, a finer thread size can be used if required. The single ply is less prone to raveling and knotting during sewing. Polymatic may be used on both sides of a double-needle machine and is ideal for zigzag sewing. Its oval profile reduces the thread's direct exposure to surface abrasion. For easy cleaning, it is unaffected by bleach.
Recommended uses include marine and outdoor fabric products, light sails, light boat tops, embroidery, filtration, quilting, and sports equipment.
