Coats Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made from a high-strength, resilient, and continuous filament polyester. This style is a soft, non-bonded variety with an anti-static finish. It offers 20-33% higher long-term strength than common lubricated threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to reduce shrinkage or stretch. The high-tenacity sewing thread is built for heavy-duty fabrication and demanding conditions.
Main uses include marine and outdoor applications, leather goods, luggage, furniture, seat trims, and footwear. Ultra Dee polyester thread is offered in many attractive colors, including Black. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
