The YKK SNAD fastener in 1" Black is a durable, clever snap fastener that affixes to various surfaces using an enhanced adhesive. This prevents having to drill holes in surfaces to install the fastener. With a flexible silicone base, it readily forms to surfaces. The stud works great for marine applications and cushions. Unlike conventional metal trims, SNAD is a stainless-steel adhesive snap component. This product will not snag clothing or degrade from exposure to sand, dirt, or sunlight.
The snap fastener's smooth surface enables easy cleaning. It will not corrode, discolor, or crack. Installation is simple: clean the surface where the snap is to be applied, remove the protective paper backing, position and securely hold the snap in place, and let go.
SNAD is compatible with any DOT®, Fasnap®, Morito, Stimpson™, or YKK snap components meeting Mil Spec 10884 (MS27980 Style 2).
