The Astrup Company now offers DuraTouch™ – an interior upholstery fabric featuring the look and feel associated with genuine leather. The softness, flexibility and drapability of DuraTouch make it suitable for a wide variety of upholstery applications including marine cabin interiors, hospitality, recreational vehicles (meets MVSS302) and high-end residential and contract upholstery.

With a soft hand and supple, leather glove-like appearance, DuraTouch is 100 percent expanded polyurethane on 100 percent rayon substrate. Its high quality textile backing provides exceptional durability and greater physical strength than many other urethane-coated fabrics on the market. Available in 42 colors, DuraTouch is 54 inches wide and 20 ounces per linear yard (13.33 ounces per square yard).

The flexibility of DuraTouch makes it an excellent option for unconventional applications such as apparel, athletic sleeves, handbags, small leather goods, gun cases and headlining. DuraTouch is also often used in the manufacture of massage tables. The fabric is machine washable and can be dry-cleaned.
