New choices in select Sunbrella® fabrics are now available from The Astrup Company that will make life easier for awning and marine fabricators. Select colors of the popular Sunbrella® and Sunbrella® "Plus" fabrics are now available in an 80-inch width. Traditionally sold in widths up to 60 inches, the new extra width option allows fabricators to cover wide expanses, thus eliminating the need for extra seaming and the possibility for tears at stress points along the seams.

Known in the industry as one of the finest outdoor fabrics in the world, Sunbrella fabrics withstand sun, wind and rain and are soft and easy to work with. Fade and mildew resistant, Sunbrella stays beautiful for years. Because the fabric is woven, Sunbrella breathes, so it doesn't trap heat and moisture. The fabrics are widely used in residential and commercial awnings and outdoor furniture. In marine applications, Sunbrella is used to create sail covers, biminis, dodgers, winch covers, cushions, interiors, curtains and more.

The new 80-inch width is now available in Black, Burgundy, Captain Navy, Ocean Blue, Pacific Blue and Toast. In addition to these standard colors, Astrup now offers the 80 inch Sunbrella in Forest Green. The fabric is nine ounces per square yard and backed by a manufacturer’s five-year limited warranty.
