John Boyle is pleased to offer new colors in our awning/canopy fabrics.

Patio® 500, a leading fabric for over 30 years, especially in hot, humid areas, is a three ply laminate with a matte, fabric like appearance. Black/Eggshell is used with the Black on the outside and the Eggshell color on the inside to allow improved light reflection under the awning or canopy. Brick is another new color which matches most clay roofing used in construction. In the near future, we will also be adding Scarlet to the Patio 500 fabric line.

BTF-19® is our PVC coated high-tenacity polyester with a PVDF/Acrylic finish which offers superior fabric performance in awnings, canopies, tents and light structures. We have added Terra Cotta, Emerald and Pearl White.

Veranda® vinyl laminated polyester has a specially formulated PVDF finish that provides greater resistance to UV, dirt and pollution keeping the beautiful colors bright and the fabric clean. It is heat sealable and accepts many types of graphics, including pressure sensitive adhesive vinyl and heat transfer film. New colors include Designer White, Prussian Teal and Brick.

Polytex™ 230 is manufactured from high density polyethylene (HDPE) using a monofilament and tape construction. The fabric is produced by knitting the monofilament and tape together to produce a premium, architectural grade fabric specially designed for moderate tension and modular shading applications, as well as other shade structures. This 150” wide fabric is now stocked in 3 East Coast Locations: Lake Park, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and Statesville, North Carolina – as well as City of Industry, California and Grand Prairie, Texas.

Sunbrella® solution dyed woven acrylics feature rich colors that are solution dyed so they cannot wash out. They resist fading and remain beautiful for many years. Granite and Parchment are new solid colors available in both 46 and 60 inch widths and we also offer 15 new Sunbrella® “Signature Series” stripes in 46” width.

John Boyle is also pleased to offer Glen Raven’s new Firesist®,HUV, woven using state-of-the-art fibers that are inherently fire retardant and texturized for a low luster natural canvas look. It also has a translucent matte coating on the underside of the fabric that dramatically increases hydrostatic resistance, eliminates fraying of cut edges, improves abrasion resistance and enhances sewing or welding. Firesist HUV, which has been qualified for Sunbrella Graphics System, comes in 17 popular colors.

John Boyle also offers new colors in the Steel Stitch™ Fabric ZipStrip® collection. This revolutionary product provides an aesthetic option to PVC trim creating a fantastic handcrafted look your customers are sure to love. Sunbrella® fabric sewn with Gore™ Tenara® 100% PFTE thread wraps around the ZipStrip® cap completely concealing the PVC material. The lockstitch double seam holds the Sunbrella® securely in place for years of durable performance. Fabric ZipStrip® is currently available in 22 popular Sunbrella® colors with more standard colors soon to come. New ones we’ve just added include Charcoal Grey, Taupe, Mediterranean Blue, Spruce Green and Heather Beige. If you don’t see a color you need, you can order it with a 50 foot minimum.

Sun Control products are available through our partnership with Rollac Shutter of Texas. Located in Pearland, Texas (a suburb of Houston, Texas). We offer a complete line of retractable awning systems, drop arm awnings, vertical drop awnings and solar screens for windows, decks or patio installations. Rollac uses Gore™ Tenara® 100% PFTE thread in every awning and drop screen they sew. All metal components are powder coated (where applicable) and stainless steel hardware is standard for long lasting durability. Gaviota® retractable arm awning kit now features two new arm projections of 8’2” and 10’10” which expands our offering to 4 different projections. In addition, the Gaviota® will be available in widths up to 22’ 11”. We also offer a new Gaviota® Drop Arm Awning that will be sold three different ways: complete, without fabric and kit.
