John Boyle has added new product lines and expanded existing lines:

John Boyle has improved our Harbor-Time™ marine fabric line. The reformulated product now has enhanced hand and color consistency. The acrylic coated polyester has color coating on both sides which is enhanced by a proprietary clear coat, also applied on both sides of the fabric.

Also new, Boyle has added two new colors to its Sea-Spraé® marine fabric line. Extremely economical and super light weight at 6.25 ounces per square yard, this acrylic coated 100% polyester fabric is now available in Apple Red and Navy.

Soltis® 86 offers a protective screen against UV rays and wind, allowing transparency while preserving privacy. Using patented Precontraint® technology from Ferrari Textiles, the fabric is stretched during the entire production process, resulting in dimensional stability that helps it maintain its shape without bagging or sagging. Soltis is 70 inches wide and 11 ounces per square yard, stocked in white but available in other colors on special order.

Stamoid® Heavy Cover is designed for a wide range of exterior applications, including sail and helm covers, enclosures and mooring covers. At 14 ounces per square yard, it’s 100% waterproof and resistant to UV rays, yet flexible and easy to handle. Will not crack even under extremely low temperatures. It’s easy to keep clean and now available in White and Snow White in 102 inch widths.

Stamoid® Light and Stamoid® Top, both made of vinyl coated polyester are durable, flexible and 100% waterproof and have high UV resistance. John Boyle has now added to the existing color range of these two product lines both White and Snow White in 59 inch widths. (Stamoid Light is coated one side and weighs 8.3 ounces per square yard. Stamoid Top is coated two sides and weighs 12.7 ounces per square yard.)

John Boyle is pleased to offer many new Sunbrella® products, including new Granite and Parchment in 60” width. Also new is a collection of 80” Sunbrella fabrics in the most popular colors: Black, Captain Navy, Toast, Pacific Blue, Burgundy, Ocean Blue and Cadet Grey. These wider fabrics are to the marine fabricators advantages in terms of increased efficiency in fabrication and an enhanced seamless look.

Also new are two new versions of Sunbrella® Supreme. Supreme is a two-sides marine fabric with a regular Sunbrella face and a flocked under-side, creating an elegant look underneath biminis and boat tops. Sunbrella Supreme is also highly water repellent. The new offerings are two-tone fabrics: Forest Green/Linen and Burgundy/Linen. This gives a total of four two-tone looks, the other two being Black/Linen and Captain Navy/Linen. The Linen color is popular in two-tone fabrics because it brightens up the area beneath the biminis.

Glen Raven has also introduced an alternative to the standard coated mesh, Sunbrella® Shade which allows boaters a little more privacy without blocking too much light or completely eliminating the view. Shade offers light filtering features for applications above and below deck for use in creating window shades for boat cabins and for privacy screening as part of cockpit or bridge enclosures. It can also be used to protect and extend the life of marine furnishings and can also contribute to reduced temperatures inside cabins and boat enclosures. Testing has shown 84% blockage of damaging UV rays. Available in: Black, Cadet Grey, Captain Navy, Linen, Natural.

Through our partnership with Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, LLC, John Boyle has added and already expanded to well over 100 patterns an incredible collection of Sunbrella® Furniture Fabrics. The high-performance features of these fabrics have been developed from more than 40 years experience with boats and convertible automobile tops. Soft and comfortable, they will retain their appearance throughout years of exposure to sunlight and rain. We also carry our own John Boyle Premier Furniture Fabric Collection, which is also well over 100 patterns. All of these fabrics offer you the ultimate in stain resistance and performance whether used as indoor/outdoor home furnishings and decorating or in one of many marine applications.

New in marine hardware is a set of Taco® Metals Ball and socket top fittings. They feature full rotation, 90 degree ball design for side mounts, hinge mounts for desk, sides and tube, polished stainless steel finish and come either with our without pop-rivet or set screw. Fits: 7/8”, 3/4” and 1” tube. All are made from Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel.

Costa® Track is our newest channel molding, the custom fabricator’s premium track. The Stainless Steel #6 10-32 #4 Phillips head machine screw is perfect for use with the pre-drilled holes. It uses our standard 8.5 keder. Used for marine enclosures, covers, canvas tops, industrial equipment enclosures, outdoor restaurant enclosures and residential patio enclosures, Costa Track is designed to replace the old style flange track for a more aesthetically pleasing application. The rigid PVC construction has exceptional strength, yet is has the flexibility to be heated and bent around any radius. It is pre-drilled every 4 inches for quicker installations. It comes in White and Off-White, both available in the flat or concave bottom style for windshield or rail mounting. These colors match popular Gel-Coat colors and the Off White matches Stamoid White, the White matches Stamoid Snow White.
