New Ergonomic Shears Prevent Wrist Strain
New Blue Ergonomic Shears can be used to cut abrasive materials, carpet, cloth, cord, fabrics, felt lining, muslin, rubber and much more

The Astrup Company now offers ergonomic shears that give fabricators greater leverage in cutting and help prevent wrist strain. New Blue Ergonomic Shears can be used to cut abrasive materials, carpet, cloth, cord, fabrics, felt lining, muslin, rubber and much more.

Manufactured by Heritage Cutlery, Blue Ergonomic Shears have been engineered with an extended bottom ring to allow the operator to use all four fingers when cutting. The wider space provides greater handling and allows room for gloves to be worn. The handle also has a soft-to-the-touch blue coating. The result of this user-friendly design is greater comfort and ease for the hand and less strain on the wrist.

In addition to added comfort, high quality Blue Ergonomic Shears are extremely durable. Manufactured to satisfy the demand of continuous use, they are made from hot-hammer forgings, the best process for producing genuine industrial grade hand tools. Correctly hardened, precisely ground, and properly finished blades assure clean, uniform cuts at all times. For added rust protection, Blue Ergonomic Shears have an industrial finish with chrome over nickel-plating inside and out.

New Blue Ergonomic Shears are available from Astrup in 10 and 12-inch right-handed styles and a 10 inch left-handed style.
