Astrup now offers Marine Formula™, a patented solvent that goes after some of the toughest particles to remove. Specially formulated Marine Formula cleans and removes a wide variety of adhesives and sealants used in and on the boat.

Designed to break the molecular bond of polyurethane adhesives and silicone rubber, Marine Formula can be used to clean up and remove cured 3M™ 5200 and other polyurethane adhesives, caulks and sealants, black rub marks, liquid nails, most graffiti and overspray, polysulfide sealants, adhesive residue and adhesive films from duct and masking tape. Marine Formula is also an excellent choice to wipe away excess spills of sealants and adhesives.

The product is safe to use on many hard surfaces such as glass, Formica, fiberglass, cement, brick, linoleum, wood floors and metal surfaces. It will not affect two-part paint systems such as AwlGrip®, Imron®, or Clear Coat, which are widely used in the marine industry. Marine Formula is not to be used on plastics, including Lexan®. Marine Formula is available from Astrup in four-ounce and 12-ounce spray containers. Marine Formula Industrial Strength is available in a one gallon container.
