New brackets allow for larger widths and projections on Solair Retractable Awning Systems
Those considering installing Solair® Retractable Awnings now have more choices when it comes to size. The Astrup Company has added two new Solair brackets to its hardware line that allow for new, larger widths and projections on Solair Retractable Awning Systems. With the new brackets, the awnings can now provide shade for larger areas.
Retractable awnings provide the flexibility to enjoy the sun when desired and provide cooling shade when needed. For the best of both worlds, the awning extends over an area, or retracts at the touch of a button to let the sun shine in. Retractable awnings help to protect indoor and outdoor furnishings and assist in reducing cooling costs. When not in use, they stay neatly tucked away.
Available from Astrup in white, desert sand, brown and mocha colors, the new Solair XP Slider Bracket is longer than standard Solair brackets and used on one end of the Solair arm slide units. The new Solair XP Front Bar Coupling Extension is then added to the front of the same arm. One arm overlaps, or crosses over the other, allowing for longer projections than width of the unit. Previously, the Solair awning was limited to a projection of 16 inches less than the width. The new components allow for overlapping arms to extend up to a 12.5 foot projection on an eight foot wide Solair frame.
Designed and engineered using superior components, Astrup Solair Retractable Awning Systems withstand stress, operate effortlessly, and retain their attractive appearance for many years. They are easily attached to new or existing structures and offered in both manual and electric motor actuated models.
Solair Retractable Awning Systems carry the internationally recognized TUV Certification signifying their quality, durability and workmanship, and assuring safe and reliable operation.
