Tri Vantage, the nation's largest distributor of specialty fabrics, hardware and finishing supplies, has introduced a new Berber style to its line of marine carpeting.

Fit for use in marine interiors and exteriors, the new Berber carpeting comes in two patterns of variegated neutral colors that coordinate with any interior or cockpit. The Berber Dunes pattern is available in 90 and 144-inch widths in Pebble or Sheffield Gray color choices. An alternate Sashay pattern is 102 inches wide and available in Pebble.

Both patterns are backed with a specially designed non glue-down backing called Aqua Trac™. This non-skid backing allows water to drain and is baked onto the carpet so it will not delaminate, crack or wrinkle. The carpet mats have a unique heavy weight as they are constructed of 28 ounces-per-square-yard, 100 percent UV stabilized polypropylene/olefin fibers.

Simple care and maintenance of the carpet involves regular vacuuming for general cleaning, and soap and water for hard to remove spots and dirt. However, solvents normally associated with the dry cleaning of apparel cannot be used on these products. When removing mats, care should be taken to avoid breaking or pulling snaps through the carpet.

The new Berber carpeting from Tri Vantage features a three-year limited warranty against fiber fade and failure of the Aqua Trac backing.
