The new Somfy Infrared Heater with RTS receiver is a 1500-watt heater that has a heating span of 130 square feet. The bar shaped heater is easily attached to any overhead pole and plugs into any standard wall outlet. Because of the infrared technology, there is no need to warm up the heater prior to use, which eliminates wasted heat and electricity. Instead of using gas heaters, which can be costly and environmentally unsafe, Somfy Infrared Heaters are less costly and more effective in warming people, not the air. Also, unlike gas heaters, Somfy Infrared Heaters are not affected by wind, therefore heat is constantly flowing onto people and not dispersing in the air.
