Tri Vantage has launched the Shade Inspiration Collection, a line of decorative window shades for interior and "outdoor room" applications. The Shade Inspiration Collection is the first interior Sun Control product line offered by Tri Vantage. The collection is designed to provide consumers with a variety of stylish sun control options and offer fabricators a chance to develop sales in the fastest growing segment of the window covering industry.

Now more than ever, consumers are purchasing decorative window shades to add personality or privacy to a room and have the ability to control light. Shades also save energy as consumers can control the temperature of a room by limiting or enhancing the amount of sunlight. The collection’s designer shade choices range from bright and airy to blackout, offering high style solutions to achieve the dramatic environments that consumers are demanding. The collection includes four design groupings, each offering a unique color and texture personality. The groupings are Enchante™ Transitional, Sunbrella® Decorative, Filtered Light and Blackout.

Enchante Transitional Shades deliver a sophisticated style for any room. This grouping has a distinctive two-panel design that allows fabric panels to lay apart to let light in, or to overlap to block it out, and can be set anywhere in between. In the closed position, Enchante diffuses incoming light, casting the room with a warm glow, and when the panels overlap light is filtered into the room through the sheer fabric sections. Enchante Transitional Shades offer the privacy of a window shade, the softened view of a sheer and the option of raising or lowering the shade with privacy control at every level.

The Sunbrella Decorative grouping offers four choices of openness factors and a total of 32 colors. The fabrics create a variety of looks and designs for indoor use, as well as outdoor applications for enclosed patios, porches and lanais. The unique light-filtering qualities help reduce fading of interior drapes, carpets and furnishings while continuing to offer a view of the outdoors. Homeowners will be pleased with the wide color range, increased comfort and the low energy costs that Sunbrella Decorative provides.

The Filtered Light grouping features dependable SheerWeave® and Soltis® fabrics, which are available in a full range of colors, textures and opacities, and offer various privacy settings. Popular throughout the window shading industry, many of these fabrics offer the flexibility of use in indoor and outdoor settings in both residential and commercial applications. Many patterns are GREENGUARD® certified and pass FR requirements.

The Blackout grouping features SheerWeave 7000 fabrics that are specifically designed to provide total light blockage. These fabrics are designed for applications where full light blocking is required, such as bedrooms, home theaters and corporate presentation rooms. Blackout shades are available in five neutral colors that easily coordinate with any interior. While providing ultimate privacy, Blackout shades keep interiors cool and furnishings free from fading.
