Tri Vantage has developed a program to stock a line of high-quality primer and paint products manufactured by Sherwin-Williams that are formulated for use on aluminum, steel, galvanized substrate, iron and other metal surfaces. These products create an aesthetically pleasing look to an awning frame and complement a wide range of awning fabrics. Available in economically priced, one-gallon containers, products offered include Sherwin-Williams Pro-Cryl™ Universal Primer, DTM (Direct to Metal) Acrylic Gloss Paint, Bond-Plex™ Aluminum Paint, and Sher-Clear™ Paint.

Sherwin-Williams Pro-Cryl Universal Primer is a matte finish, water-based acrylic primer recommended for use before applying either the DTM or Bond-Plex Aluminum paints. This primer lays the groundwork for effective corrosion protection and added weatherability. It is a fast-drying, non-flammable primer with a low odor. Colors available are Red Oxide, Gray and Off White.

DTM Acrylic Gloss Paint is a matte finish, water-based acrylic paint that is non-hazardous, corrosion and chemical resistant, fast drying with a low odor. Available colors include White, Black, Desert Sand and Forest Green.

Bond-Plex Aluminum Paint is a water-based acrylic paint that meets customers' needs for a longer-lasting, clean aluminum look. It has low odor and dries quickly to a mar-resistant finish. The coating's early moisture resistance, outstanding gloss retention and weathering characteristics improve long-term appearance.

Sher-Clear 1K Waterbased Acrylic Clear Coat is a single component, high-gloss, UV-resistant acrylic clear coat. It is formulated to provide long-term color and gloss performance over new or existing acrylic coatings, and selective solvent based coatings. Other key features include: graffiti, yellowing and early moisture resistance, VOC-compliant, easy clean-up, and safe to use. Sher-Clear Acrylic Clear Coat dries in 45 minutes and may be applied by brush, roller, conventional or air less spray equipment.
