The minimum system requirements are as follows:

• Microsoft Windows XP, Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Pentium class processor (or faster)
• 32MB of RAM
• Display set to 800x600 resolution (or higher), 16-bit color (or higher)

PLEASE NOTE: The "Building Cushions" module is not compatible with 64-bit versions of Vista or Windows 7.

Color depth is how many colors you can display on the screen at a time. Awning Composer requires 16-bit color (65,536 colors) or 32-bit color (16,777,216 colors). Display resolution is how many pixels (individual dots of light) make up the screen area. It's also known as "desktop size". Awning Composer requires a display resolution of at least 800x600. Here's how to set your resolution:

1. Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
2. Double-click on Display.
3. Click on the Settings tab.
4. Click on the Colors drop-down box and choose 16-bit color or higher.
5. Drag the slider under "Screen area" to the right until it says at least 800x600 (640x480 is not acceptable).
6. Click Apply or OK to set the new resolution.
