Easy to install
These lateral arm systems are assembled on a 1.575" square aluminum support tube. They can easily be mounted to any surface, wood face, ceiling, masonry wall, roof or to wood rafter of an open overhang. Two styles of mounting brackets are available and are attached with galvanized lag screws. When retracted, the awning systems are contained within a 10" square area.

Solair Projection: Arms are available in seven lengths: 4'2", 5'7", 6'11", 8'7", 10'2", 11'6", 12'6". Standard Widths: 10' through 40'.
Ground level detail
The front bar height for a private residence should be 7'0" from ground level. The height for a commercial building is 8'0" with the Solair system. With a standard awning pitch of 18°, the placement of the awning brackets will be determined by allowing 3" wall height for each arm foot. This location will be the center of the aluminum roller tube.
