The Tri Vantage Patio Variette was created to give more versatility to a retractable awning. The Variette provides rain, sun and wind protection. With proper pitch for water drainage, the Patio Variette can withstand normal inclement weather. The roller assembly is similar to the lateral arm and uses the Solair bracket system AU-10, AU-16C, & AU-27.

This system is ideal when the fastening points are unknown, and uses support tube for mounting. Width is measured the same way as the lateral arm awning. A slight pitch of 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 in. per ft. of projection is recommended for proper water drainage. Maximum projection is 13 ft. Maximum fabric capacity on the roller is the projection plus the fabric in the front. The front height should be a minimum of 7 ft. for appropriate clearance. The front height is the distance from the floor to the curve.

Available in widths up to 20 ft., the Variette's patented design uses heavy-duty wrap around trolleys to carry the fabric to the desired position on the tracks. Only gear operation available. Each Variette is sold with a cord system, which is used to help extend the cover when necessary on limited pitch units. Hood, end covers and side curtains are also available. Call for quotations.

Fabrics available for Variette covers (included) are Sunbrella®, Sunbrella® "Plus" and Dickson®. For maximum rain protection, Sunbrella "Plus" is recommended.
