This PVC trim is engineered to cover up staples once the fabric has been fixed into position. Used for awning and canopy frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel using a pneumatic hammer. Available in more than 30 colors, such as Rouge Red.
Many prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its quick-and-easy, reliable solution for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, attaching the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then hidden with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer.
