This fabric-covered PVC channel trim makes a traditional finish on canvas awnings and canopies. Steel Stitch Fabric-Covered ZipStrip uses Sunbrella acrylic fabric that fully covers the PVC component. A stable lockstitch double seam of GORE TENARA thread secures the fabric in position for many years of attractive performance. A range of fabrics and colors are available, including Terracotta.
Many fabricators favor Steel Stitch awning hardware for its easy, durable technique for installing awnings. Staples are driven into the Steel Stitch tube, affixing the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then covered with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a compact pneumatic hammer. The end result is a snug fit and sleek look, done in much less time than other techniques. Shop all types of the staple-in awning frame system through Trivantage.
