This #3 rolled rim grommet and spur washer set is used to reinforce holes in a range of fabrics. Forged from heavy-gauge brass, these small but durable pieces of hardware can stand up to any kind of setting. The finish gives a matte black look and assists in abrasion resistance. The rolled rim grommet offers a slightly thicker material. The spur washer offers more teeth when compared to a tooth washer. When the two engage, this grommet and washer pair provides the most robust and stable option. Since they don't shift around after installed, this makes them optimal for rugged applications that experience movement, like for use on boats. Simply cut a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the appropriate setting tools.
While best-suited for curtains, drapery, and vinyl banners, they also function well in custom upholstery, outdoor awning, and marine jobs. Specific uses consist of boat covers, banners and flags, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, seats, signs and media, tarpaulins, outdoors tents, and awnings.
The hole's inner diameter is 15/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 total pieces).
