This #5 rolled rim grommet and spur washer pair is made to reinforce holes in a range of fabrics. Forged from heavy-gauge brass, these compact but durable pieces of hardware can stand up to any type of setting. The nickel-plated finish gives added abrasion resistance and a silver look. The rolled rim grommet offers a slightly thicker material. The spur washer provides additional teeth when compared to a tooth washer. When the two engage, this grommet and washer set offers the most robust and stable option. Since they don't move around after installed, this makes them optimal for rough applications that experience movement, like for use on boats. Simply perforate a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the proper setting tools.
While optimal for banners, drapery, and curtains, they also work well in custom awning, outdoor upholstery, and marine jobs. Specific uses include boat covers, banners and flags, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, seats, signs and media, tarpaulins, outdoors tents, and awnings.
The hole's inner diameter is 5/8". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 total pieces).
