This fabric-covered PVC staple channel trim makes a traditional finish on canvas awnings and canopies. Steel Stitch Fabric-Covered ZipStrip is made with Sunbrella acrylic that fully hides the PVC material. A durable lockstitch double seam of GORE TENARA thread holds the fabric in position for many years of attractive performance. A range of fabrics and colors are available, including Forest Green.
Steel Stitch awning hardware is a popular choice for its easy, durable technique for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, connecting the fabric firmly to the awning frame. The staple channel is then hidden with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is quickly driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer.
