This PVC trim is engineered to cover staples once the fabric has been fixed into place. Used for awning and canopy frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel using an air hammer. Offered in more than 30 colors, such as Plum.
Many prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its easy, durable method for installing awnings. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, connecting the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then covered with Steel Stitch fabric-covered or plain PVC ZipStrip, which is quickly driven into the channel with a compact pneumatic hammer.
