This PVC trim is designed to cover up staples once the fabric has been fixed into position. Used in canopy and awning frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel using an air hammer. Available in over 30 colors, such as Burgundy.
Steel Stitch awning hardware is a popular choice for its easy, reliable method for awning installation. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, connecting the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then concealed with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer.
