This #1 grommet and neck washer set is made to fortify holes in a range of fabrics. Made from heavy-gauge brass, these small yet resilient parts can endure any type of setting. The nickel-plated finish gives added abrasion resistance and a silver look. The neck washer is mainly used in barrel-to-barrel functions. Simply perforate a hole into the fabric then position the metal grommet and washer with the proper setting tools.
While ideal for banners, drapery, and curtains, they also work well in marine, custom upholstery, and outdoor awning projects. Specific applications consist of awnings, seats, boat covers, flags and banners, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, signs and media, outdoor tents, and tarpaulins.
