This #1 grommet and plain washer pair is made to reinforce holes in a range of fabrics. Made of strong aluminum, the hardware is lightweight and corrosion resistant (not as durable as brass or steel, aluminum is typically used for lighter uses). Simply perforate a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the suitable setting tools.
While optimal for banners, drapery, and curtains, they also operate well in custom upholstery, outdoor awning, and marine jobs. Specific uses include banners and flags, privacy drapes, boat covers, luggage, safety gear, seating, signs and media, tarps, awnings, and outdoor tents.
The hole's inner diameter measures 9/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 pieces total). Can be used interchangeably with plain or teeth washers.
