These handy bobbins are pre-wound with Coats Ultra Dee sewing thread. Ultra Dee is a corded (twisted) thread made from a durable, long-lasting, and continuous filament polyester. It grants 20-33% higher strength than standard lubricated sewing threads. Ultra Dee is heat set to minimize stretch and shrinkage. Its bonded finish helps prevent ply untwisting and reduces fraying at the needle eye. This means enhanced seam quality and less worry over mending and rethreading. The high-tenacity thread is built for extreme assembly and demanding environments.
Common applications for the pre-wound bobbins include luggage, footwear, leather goods, outdoor goods, marine applications, seat trims, and upholstery. Ultra Dee polyester bobbins are offered in multiple color options, like White. All are left twist (Z twist) threads.
