This #8 rolled rim grommet and spur washer set is used to reinforce holes in a range of fabrics. Forged from heavy-gauge brass, these compact but durable pieces of hardware can endure any kind of climate. The finish gives a matte black look and assists in abrasion resistance. The rolled rim grommet offers a slightly thicker material. The spur washer provides additional teeth when compared to a tooth washer. When the two come together, this grommet and washer pair offers the most stable and robust option. Since they don't move around after installed, this makes them ideal for rugged environments that experience movement, like for use on boats. Easily perforate a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the suitable setting tools.
While optimal for curtains, drapery, and vinyl banners, they also function well in custom awning, outdoor upholstery, and marine jobs. Specific applications include banners and flags, privacy drapes, boat covers, luggage, safety gear, seating, signs and media, tarps, awnings, and outdoor tents.
The hole's inner diameter is 1-3/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 total pieces).
