This #8 rolled rim grommet and spur washer pair is used to fortify holes in a range of fabrics. Forged from heavy-gauge brass, these compact yet durable parts can withstand any kind of climate. The nickel-plated finish gives added abrasion resistance and a silver look. The rolled rim grommet provides a slightly thicker material. The spur washer provides additional teeth than a tooth washer. When the two come together, this grommet and washer pair offers the most stable and robust option. Since they don't move around after installed, this makes them optimal for rigorous environments that experience movement, like for use on boats. Easily perforate a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the appropriate setting tools.
While optimal for banners, drapery, and curtains, they also operate well in custom awning, outdoor upholstery, and marine jobs. Specific uses include boat covers, banners and flags, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, seats, signs and media, tarpaulins, outdoors tents, and awnings.
The hole's inner diameter is 1-3/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 pieces total).
