Coverlight CSM-coated nylon fabric brings all the advantages of the neoprene-coated option but with outstanding abrasion resistance. Among the most versatile cover fabrics, it combats deterioration from heat, sun, weather, ozone, and moderately corrosive chemicals. The nylon tarp material exhibits excellent service at hot temperatures. It is more resistant to high temperatures (up to 225° F) and oxidizing agents than vinyl or neoprene. Water repellent and mildew resistant, the tarp fabric is ideal for use outdoors.
CSM-coated nylon can be sewn or cemented to provide airtight and watertight seams. Suggested uses include steam fumigation covers, truck tarps, and lifeboat covers. Available here in Green.
