TR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is lubricated with a silicone solution for high-speed sewing. It has an elongation (stretch) of approximately 17%, making it more robust than leading threads. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Protected by a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is made from ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for tensile, versatile, and durable performance. UV radiation will not weaken or degrade it, so it maintains its strength and color indefinitely. Unaffected by canvas cleaning solutions and resistant to chemicals, it will not stain, rot, or mildew. And because it's designed to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.
Applications include awnings, shade covers, upholstery, pool covers, tarps, boat covers, and other marine and industrial projects. GORE TENARA TR Style in Clear offers an invisible seam to any outdoor fabric. The 300-meter spools make it easier to use a variety of colors on smaller jobs.
