TR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is lubricated with a silicone solution for high-speed sewing. The thread has an elongation (stretch) of approximately 17%, making it stronger than other leading threads. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Protected by a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is made from ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for flexible, versatile, and durable performance. UV radiation will not weaken or degrade it, so it maintains its strength and color indefinitely. Chemical resistant and unaffected by fabric cleaning solutions, it will not stain, rot, or mildew. And since it's developed to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.
Applications include upholstery, awnings, shade, boat covers, pool covers, tarps, and other marine or industrial projects. GORE TENARA TR Style in Forest Green offers a color-rich seam to any outdoor fabric. The 300-meter spools make it easier to use a variety of colors on smaller jobs.
