Description

HTR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is heavy-duty and lubricated, making it ideal for high-speed sewing. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Equipped with a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is impervious to damaging UV rays. The thread is made of ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for tensile, versatile, and robust performance. UV rays will not weaken or degrade it, which means it preserves its strength and color indefinitely. Chemical resistant and unaffected by canvas cleaning solutions, it will not rot, stain, or mildew. And because it's made to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.

HTR Style heavy sewing thread features a distinct 3-ply twisted bonded construction that offers multiple advantages:

  • An improved circular cross-section that gives a smoother, more uniform appearance
    • An increased twist level to minimize breaks
  • Excellent sewability
  • Softer construction


Because of the new design, the thread is smoother on the tube, which allows for up to 15% more seam length for the same tube price as the former HTR-style thread. For standard weights, see TR Style. For unlubricated thread, see Original Style.

GORE TENARA HTR Style in Chesapeake Bay Blue provides a color-rich seam to any outdoor fabric. These 1-pound spools enable longer runs without having to change spools.
