This fabric-covered PVC staple channel trim creates a traditional finish on awnings and canopies. Steel Stitch Fabric-Covered ZipStrip is made with FIRESIST flame-retardant fabric that completely conceals the PVC material. A durable lockstitch double seam of GORE TENARA thread holds the fabric in place for years of attractive performance. Several colors and fabrics are available, including Regatta.
Many prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its easy, durable method for installing awnings. Staples are driven into the Steel Stitch tube, attaching the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then concealed with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is quickly driven into the channel with a small pneumatic hammer.
