This #8 rolled rim grommet and spur washer pair is used to fortify holes in a variety of fabrics. Made from heavy-gauge brass, these small yet resilient pieces of hardware can endure any type of setting. The nickel-plated finish gives added abrasion resistance and a silver look. The rolled rim grommet offers a slightly thicker material. The spur washer offers additional teeth than a tooth washer. When the two engage, the grommet and washer pair offers the most stable and robust option. Since they don't shift around after installed, this makes them ideal for rugged applications that experience movement, like for use on boats. Easily perforate a hole into the fabric then install the metal grommet and washer with the proper setting tools.
While optimal for drapery, curtains, and vinyl banners, they also operate well in custom awning, outdoor upholstery, and marine jobs. Specific applications consist of awnings, seats, boat covers, flags and banners, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, signs and media, outdoor tents, and tarpaulins.
The hole's inner diameter is 1-3/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 total pieces).
