The Somfy Eolis Wind Sensor features an integrated radio receiver. Wind speed is continuously monitored, triggering the control to retract awnings automatically when needed. The Eolis may operate the controls individually or in groups using Telis Transmitters. If the 3D sensor loses functionality, the motor will retract the awning automatically. This is a safety feature, and functionality can usually be restored by replacing the battery or the sensor. Even with the use of an Eolis wind sensor, it is still possible for wind damage to occur. It is recommended that awnings be retracted when unattended. Shown here in Black.
