YKK VISLON UV #8 zippers are engineered especially for marine environments. All unit and slider materials are scientifically constructed to resist damage from wear and direct sunlight. The teeth are molded from heavy-duty acetal plastic. The acetal polymer is bound to a strong polyester tape and cord, which keep the sliders on track. The acetal resin reduces the impact of UV radiation, greatly increasing the zipper's life.
For easy operation, the VISLON zipper is corrosion resistant and self-lubricating. It withstands mud, sand, and other natural elements. Because the color is incorporated into the molding step, the surface does not peel, chip, or rub off. Use the zipper for custom marine projects, awning enclosures, bags, tents, upholstery, industrial curtains, and other applications.
#VFUV (279875) is a white separating zipper with a non-lock, double pull, metal slider. Chain width is 8mm. Zipper tape roll length is 18 inches.
