This #1 rolled rim grommet and spur washer set is made to support holes in a variety of fabrics. Made of heavy-gauge brass, these small yet resilient pieces of hardware can withstand any type of setting. The finish gives a matte black look and assists in abrasion resistance. The rolled rim grommet offers a slightly thicker material. The spur washer provides additional teeth when compared to a tooth washer. When the two engage, this grommet and washer set offers the most robust and stable option. Since they don't move around after installed, this makes them ideal for rough applications that experience movement, like for use on boats. Simply cut a hole into the fabric then position the metal grommet and washer with the appropriate setting tools.
While optimal for curtains, drapery, and vinyl banners, they also work well in marine, custom upholstery, and outdoor awning projects. Specific applications consist of boat covers, banners and flags, luggage, privacy drapes, safety gear, seats, signs and media, tarpaulins, outdoors tents, and awnings.
The hole's inner diameter is 13/32". 1 gross = 144 grommets and 144 washers (288 pieces total).
