SheerWeave BASIC 5% is the latest in innovative sun control fabric development. With all the benefits you can expect from SheerWeave but uniquely designed for the demanding commercial market, this sun screen fabric is ideal for your spec-driven projects. A more robust core yarn gives SheerWeave BASIC the added durability that high-traffic areas and public spaces require. Suitable for all types of interior window shade applications, BASIC is an affordable alternative to traditional solar screen fabrics. The woven fiberglass fabric is 5% open.
Use in roll-up shades, Roman shades, folding shades, vertical blinds, panel tracks, and screens. While commonly used as an interior solar shading fabric, BASIC 5% can also be used in exterior roller shades. It comes in several colors, like Charcoal V21.
SheerWeave BASIC 5% sun shade fabric is infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection, providing an added level of cleanliness that lasts for the lifespan of the fabric. Microban inhibits the growth of stains, odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew to keep the fabric cleaner for longer. The sun control fabric is GREENGUARD® and GREENGUARD Gold certified.
