Made from aluminum alloy 6063-T5 and a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used in conjunction with the Steel Stitch System.
Steel Stitch offers versatile design in the fabrication of awnings, back-lit signs, and canopies. The frame system utilizes the "staple-in" method of affixing fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC trim, in a choice of more than 30 colors, is then driven into the channel to hide the staples. Making use of divider strips to link sections and the patented FlashStrip® (which forms a watertight seal against building surfaces), the outcome is an attractive, smooth, and wrinkle-free awning.
Steel Stitch Staple-In Tube #SMP-8B is 1" x 2" x 1/8" and is 25' long.
