Made from aluminum alloy 6063-T5 with a mill finish, this awning frame tube is used with the Steel Stitch System. Typically used in spans ranging from 84" to 120" that are laterally supported against fabric tension at a maximum of 50".
Steel Stitch provides versatile design in the fabrication of awnings, back-lit signs, and canopies. The frame system employs the "staple-in" technique of affixing fabric by stapling it into the tube channel. A PVC finishing trim, in a selection of over 30 colors, is then driven into the tube channel to conceal the staples. Making use of divider strips to link sections and the exclusive FlashStrip® (forming a watertight seal against building surfaces), the end result is an attractive, seamless, and wrinkle-free awning.
Steel Stitch Staple-In Tube #SMP-9BS is 1" x 4" x 1/8" and is 25' long.
