This fabric-covered PVC channel trim makes a traditional finish on canvas awnings and canopies. Steel Stitch Fabric-Covered ZipStrip uses Sunbrella acrylic fabric that fully covers the PVC material. A durable lockstitch double seam of GORE TENARA thread holds the fabric in place for many years of attractive performance. A range of color and fabric options are available, such as Seagrass Green.
Steel Stitch awning hardware is popular for its quick-and-easy, reliable technique for installing awnings. Staples are stapled into the Steel Stitch tube, attaching the fabric firmly to the awning frame. The staple channel is then concealed with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a handheld pneumatic hammer.
