This PVC trim is engineered to cover staples once the fabric has been fixed into position. Used in awning and canopy frames, Steel Stitch ZipStrip is driven into the open channel using a pneumatic hammer. Available in more than 30 colors, including Deep Red.
Many fabricators prefer Steel Stitch awning hardware for its easy, durable technique for awning installation. Staples are driven into the Steel Stitch tube, affixing the fabric securely to the awning frame. The staple channel is then covered with Steel Stitch PVC or fabric-covered ZipStrip, which is easily driven into the channel with a compact pneumatic hammer.
