Description

HTR Style GORE TENARA Sewing Thread is heavy-duty and lubricated, making it great for high-speed sewing. It is so durable, it will outlast the fabric it's sewn into. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, the thread is impervious to sunlight. The thread is composed of ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) for tensile, versatile, and durable performance. UV radiation will not degrade or weaken it, meaning it maintains its color and strength. Chemical resistant and unaffected by fabric cleaning solutions, it will not rot, stain, or mildew. And because it's designed to last outdoors, dirt wipes right off.

HTR Style heavy sewing thread includes a special 3-ply twisted bonded construction that offers multiple benefits:

  • An improved circular cross-section that provides a smoother, more uniform appearance
    • An increased twist level to minimize breaks
  • Excellent sewability
  • Softer construction


Because of the new design, the thread is smoother on the tube, which allows for up to 15% more seam length for the same tube price as the previous HTR-style thread. For standard weights, see TR Style. For unlubricated thread, see Original Style.

GORE TENARA HTR Style in Light Grey offers a color-rich seam to any outdoor fabric. These 1-pound spools enable longer runs without needing to change spools.
